Islamic Studies

  • Our Islamic studies curriculum begins during the Foundation Years and extends to the Secondary Level. 

  • Students will be fluent in Arabic upon completing 5th Grade. 

  • Teachers and management will ensure child growth as a practicing Muslim in addition to proficiency in English, Urdu, Math, Sciences and general education.

  • While the core subjects including At-Tawheed and Seerah are taught in Arabic and English, children memorize & understand important Soorahs of the Qur-aan 
  • Islam and Arabic language are inseparably linked. As such, they are integrated in courses throughout the curricula and syllabi at all levels. Their proportions and concentration, undoubtedly, are conditioned in accordance with each educational level

Tarbiyah

The nature, substance, and form of the Islamic education in Muslim societies in general, fall under the Islamic notion of tarbīyah. From the Arabic root word (rab'ba), tarbīyah is a process of raising, teaching, educating, and training children. Hence, EHS International school systems focus on Islamic tarbīyah which is perceived as the cornerstone of the schooling at all educational levels to varying degrees of focus and concentration and Islamic tarbīyah make up the core concern.

 

EHS international School systems will be launched to attain tarbīyah in a modern sense, utilizing modern means.

 

Islamic tarbīyah is a multifold process of education and upbringing, involving various subjects including the education of the Islamic sciences, relying on Islamic heritage, and at the collective level formulating and implementing policies to train generations of Muslims in accordance with religious values and norms.

 

Education at EHS International School systems strives to :

(1) Strengthen the Islamic faith.

(2) Promote an Islamic worldview based on Islamic ontology.

(3) Understand the Islamic faith based on the Muslim notion of ultimate destiny of humanity.

(4) Extend the teachings of Prophet Muḥammad (صلى اللّه عليه و سلم) sunnah through education.

(5) Teach and inform Islamic ideals.

(6) Spread faith in human dignity.

(7) Reinforce the duty of each Muslim to seek Islamic education in addition to Global / Modern knowledge.

(8) Incorporate religious education in order to promote Islamic culture at all educational levels.

(9) Involve Islam in all other subjects such as Arabic language and literature, mathematics, science, geography, history, and art.

(10) Attain proficiency in the word of the Qur’ān, Islamic theology, traditions (ḥadīth), and jurisprudence (fiqh), at all levels of the educational journey.
